Since 2007, we have helped to pioneer the Trees4Trees initiative, a major reforestation project in Indonesia. One of our Barker family members, Joseph Barker, visited Indonesia to evaluate the project’s development over the past half-decade. Joseph was amazed at the remarkable progress Trees4Trees has achieved, including 11,214,000+ trees planted, 60,000+ local families helped and over 2,450,000 tonnes of CO 2 captured.

At Barker and Stonehouse we love surrounding ourselves with texture and colour, and with the launch of our new bedroom collection, now is the time for that bedroom refresh you have always longed for!

After the successful opening of our concession in Fenwick Newcastle three years ago, we have now expanded our concept store-within-a-store to double the size. The larger, refreshed space boasts an enhanced offering of both furniture and accessories, as well as new studios for the ultimate shopping experience. The newly refurbished concession has increased by 6,000 sq. ft to span a total of 14,000 sq. ft and provides a greater choice of products and an elevated shopping experience for customers looking for high quality, stylish furniture and homewares.

Proud to Support Teesside Juniors

Raising Funds for Cancer Research We were proud to support our colleague Kate Marron as she took on the Great North Run in memory of her much-loved friend, Susie Airlie. With determination (and very little training!), Kate completed the 13.1 miles, helping to raise over £3,000 for Cancer Research.

After a fantastic fourth-place finish in the Russell Foster Premier Division and runners-up in the cup, we’re thrilled to be sponsoring the Teesside Juniors Under 9’s for the 2024/25 season. They’re stepping up to play a year above and switching to 9-a-side… all in their brand-new kits.
