The Pure Furniture Story

Pure Furniture was established in 2002 by three furniture enthusiasts.

The company specialises inmanufacturing reproductions and updated classics in an authentic and vintage style, from sketch to prototype to finished product. Pure Furniture is well known for its unmistakably unique and authentic look and feel. Every item in the collection is made with the finest materials, such as genuine buffalo leather from Italy, solid rustical oak and carefully selected fabrics. These characteristic materials, combined with ancient skills of finishing (handpolishing, waxing, scraping and sanding by craftsmen) make every single piece of furniture a timeless and authentic piece of art.

Oak Collection Pure Furniture’s wood collection is well known for its carefully selected Rustical Oak and Oak BC (less colour shadings and natural cracks), with its unique colour shadings and robust, vivid characteristics. Using ancient techniques and skills of finishing by craftsmen, such as scraping and distressing, our Rustical Oak is transformed into a timeless and authentic piece of art. If you prefer a smoother surface, our Oak BC collection could be more suitable, with less cracks and colour shadings. Rustical Oak can be finished in 9 available colours. Oak BC can be finished in 9 colours and Silverback. (*The colour Silverback can only be selected on Oak B/C.)

Leather & Colours Hand Coloured Leather

Our upholstered leather collection is well known for its unmistakably unique authentic look and feel. Every item in this collection is made from carefully selected genuine buffalo leather and coloured by hand. This full grain leather , with its worn, distressed appearance and natural markings (such as healed scars, scratches and wrinkles), is ideally suited to our leather upholstered collection.

The authentic quality is created by many different treatments, such as sanding, hand polishing and waxing, just as it was done in the early years by true craftsmen. Our unique, hand-coloured leather is available in 16 different leather colours, with semi-gloss and matt finishes.

An easy 3 step maintenance kit is available for each colour.
